Energy

The speed at which the energy sector can be decarbonized will critically influence our ability to limit the rise in global temperatures to well under 2°C.

Decarbonizing energy consumption – from the way we heat and light buildings, to the way we transport goods, people and services – is at the center of addressing the climate challenge. Projects in this program area focus on implementation of low-carbon energy solutions through cross-sectoral collaboration in renewables and in electrification of heating, cooling and transport.
