The Two Lakes Dialogue (TLD) is a pioneering platform fostering global collaboration to advance green industrial transformation and climate action. Launched in 2024 along the shores of Wuhan’s East Lake by WBCSD, in partnership with Hubei Hongtai Group and China International Chamber of Commerce Hubei Chamber. This initiative unites Chinese and international leaders to address pressing sustainability challenges through innovation, policy alignment, and cross-border partnerships.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition—which convened over 500 global business executives, policymakers, and academics to advance low-carbon solutions in energy, mobility, agriculture, and carbon markets—the 2025 edition shifts to the iconic shores of Lake Geneva. Integrated into the WBCSD’s Liaison Delegate Meeting, this year’s dialogue will deepen synergies between China and the global community to accelerate decarbonization and green growth.
