ABG has been a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) for over five years, where they have played a primary role in various WBCSD projects, including cement and water. Birla Cellulose has now taken the leadership step of joining WBCSD’s Forest Solutions Group.

This also means that business cannot succeed in a world that fails: a business that can reduce its impact on the externalities and adapt to external factors driven by global megatrends will inevitably be more successful.
We have worked hard to meet the internationally- recognized standards, and are building a sustainable pulp and fiber industry that will inevitably require a step change in the levels of transparency, traceability and new recycling technologies.
