Together with our partner BCSD Portugal we launched the Portuguese translation of version 2.0 of the Circular Transition Indicators framework with a view to support companies in Portuguese-speaking countries to actively managing their circular transition.
The framework is simple, applicable across industries and value chains, comprehensive yet flexible, complementary to a company’s existing sustainability efforts and agnostic as to material, sector or technology. Central to the CTI stands a self-assessment that determines a company’s circular performance. To support and guide companies through this process, we have partnered with Circular IQ to develop the CTI online tool available at www.ctitool.com.
BCSD Portugal, a non-profit company-based association that aggregates and represents more than 100 leading businesses in Portugal – and also WBCSD’s Global Network partner in the country, has organized a virtual event convened on 16 March, opened by João Meneses, Secretary General of BCSD Portugal. The public event included a short presentation of the CTI framework from Irene Martinetti, Circular Economy Manager at WBCSD and an introduction to the CTI tool by Roy Vercoulen from Circular IQ.
The session signed the launch of the Portuguese version “Indicadores de Transição Circular V2.0”, within the scope of the activities of its Circular Economy Working Group, including the presentation of the three Portuguese case studies (Efacec, Galp, and LIPOR).For more information:
